after a year at iit, I sat wondering how i got into IIT & i m still wondering....
anyways, here’s what i thought what an ideal life would be before i got into iit:
get into iit, put a pseud degree, put a pseud job..
my idea of a perfect life after spending a year in iit:
it could only commence after passing out from this place. It should be one like the actors in a sitcom live, where u do nothing but hang out with your cool friends in either a bar(HIMYM) or a coffee shop(FRIENDS), pass witty comments, have a hot chick as neighbour(the big bang theory), live a bachelor's life in a malibu beach house with a mercedes parked in ur garage while you earn your livelihood writing jingles(two and a half men) and last but not the least, visit Vegas whenever you feel down(all of'em).
this comes right after I finished my endsems because now I feel I know the reason why I watched so many sitcoms during my academic year 2008-09, because when you cant understand a word your physics prof is saying, you need something, someplace to find solitude. And this is how i achieved peace of mind.
LOL, I totally relate to this post, especially the "before IIT" part. My options were like put pseud UN job versus put pseud Ivy League PhD. Now I'm like pack that, I want to be a trophy wife. Of course, you don't have that option :P
